Florida’s Blood Centers, a not-for-profit blood bank, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers of all ages to help promote blood drives in Venice, Englewood and North Port.  Volunteers are also needed for office duties in North Port and Venice.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• On-site Recruiter Volunteer:  Outgoing, enthusiastic and friendly people needed to pass out flyers and other promotional materials to the public near a bloodmobile location. 
• Tele-recruitment Volunteer:  Good phone skills and an outgoing personality are key to this position.  This volunteer job requires making calls to donors that have donated at a particular drive before to let them know about the upcoming blood drive and making thank-you calls after the drive.
• Office Volunteer:  This volunteer job requires inputting email addresses in a distribution list (Computer experience helpful), filing, making copies, putting together recruitment packets, etc.          
• Donor Room Volunteer:  This volunteer job requires someone with a great personality to help streamline donor flow when the branch is busy during promotions and to get juice and cookies for donors after donating.
